Booking and guest analytics for travel teams

Travel analytics and booking analytics for hotels, tour operators, and travel platforms. Connect any reservation system through a REST API and get seasonality and demand answers.

Last updated Monday, Aug 10, 2026

Travel and hospitality data rarely fits a clean schema: booking systems, property management tools, and guest platforms all shape their data differently, and most of them expose it through an API rather than a standard database. OptimaFlo's REST API connector is built for exactly that, and turns whatever your reservation system returns into a queryable table for seasonality, demand, and guest analytics.

What makes travel data hard to analyze

  • "Our booking system's API returns nested JSON that nobody wants to parse by hand."
  • "We can see this week's occupancy, not last year's, so seasonality is a guess."
  • "Every new property or channel means a new one-off export to reconcile."
  • "The booking API sometimes returns success with zero results, and we cannot tell if that means no bookings or a broken request."

How the AI data team handles a booking or reservation API

The Ingestion Engineer connects your reservation, property, or guest system through the REST API connector, matching whatever auth it requires (API key, bearer token, basic auth, or OAuth2) and following its pagination style automatically. Nested booking records, guest details wrapped in parent objects, room arrays inside a property record, get flattened into flat rows through a five-phase flatten, the same one used for preview and the real ingest, so what you see before connecting is what actually lands. The connector also checks for the common pattern of an API returning HTTP 200 with a buried error field, so a broken pull does not silently look like an empty result.

The Data Engineer builds the pipeline that lands bookings in Raw with full history, models Clean and Ready tables for occupancy, GMV, and seasonality, and the Analyst can answer "how does this quarter's occupancy compare to last year" directly. The BI Developer turns the recurring version of that question into a dashboard for the team.

Built for your data, not a travel template

OptimaFlo does not assume a fixed schema for hotels, tours, or any specific travel business. It works from whatever your source actually returns. Read how the AI data team works on a real connect-to-dashboard request, or see the full role lineup.

Starter is $2,500 a month for the full team. Cloud compute and your own LLM key bill separately, at cost.
